Inspired by an exceptional teacher to an appreciation of art in elementary school, I have been interested in art all my life. After college, I attended a variety of art courses but am mostly a self-taught artist.

My medium is painting and I work in a variety of methods and styles especially still lifes and abstractions, yet I increasingly find myself drawn to abstractions because of their complex and elusive qualities.

When I paint I try to capture both the inner and outer reality of the world around me in order to enhance my viewers understanding and appreciation of it.

All of my work is one-of-a-kind. No prints will be made.
